Vermont State Fair

The Rutland Fair was at one time a one-day gathering. Today, this popular annual Vermont event is called the Vermont State Fair. The history of this county fair dates back more than 140 years. The fair was renamed “The Vermont State Fair” in 1972. The fairgrounds are easy to find on US Route 7 in Rutland.
The Vermont State Fair features games, prizes, live entertainment, animals and livestock, fruits and vegetables, local farmers and growers, cattle, poultry, horse pulls, and more. A great time to visit Rutland, Vermont.
The Vermont State Fair is an agricultural fair managed by The Rutland County Agricultural Society.
