Borderlands Hiking Mountain Biking Trail System

Bicycling Hiking Trails In VT NH ME & Quebec Mountains

Mountain Biking is a fast-growing sport and can be the basis for your next New England vacation. The reforestation of northern New England forests combined with the efforts of hard-working trail building volunteers to create some sensational off-road mountain dirt biking destinations. Seven sensational mountain biking areas have joined forces to create Borderlands – a world-class mountain biking destination. We salute the efforts of this New England travel ambassador civic-minded organization.

The Borderlands Trail System is growing and now incorporates two nations (US & Canada), three New England states(Vermont, New Hampshire, & Maine) and seven mountain biking destinations.

Let us begin with a Maine visit. The town famous for skiing is also a home of Mahoosuc Pathways – miles of mountain trails overlooking Bethel, Maine. Get outside and bike Community Forest, Second Nature Adventure Challenge, Borderlands, and Bacon Hill. Bethel is now a favorite mountain biking destination.
